Maybe you did that in WordPress.

Finding a nice design for your site was easy. Or, you hired a talented web designer to do that for you.

But things don’t look so good when it comes to getting traffic.

Why is that?

Internet marketing is a skill.

The bright side is that all skills are learnable.

After reading this article, you’ll have the marketing skills required to grow the traffic of your newly-launched website.

The #1 Problem 95% Of New Websites Have

Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity of working on a lot of new websites, and I found a common problem most have:

Their contents suck.

In fact, I almost vomit when I see some contents.

Most of those contents don’t add value to web readers’ lives.

Most of those contents don’t bring anything new to the table.

They are already a lot of sub-par contents on the web. Web readers don’t need more.

They want a kind of content that blows everything out of the water.

They want EPIC contents.

Not great.

Not average.

EPIC!

Would a web reader say “Holy Smokes!” after reading your content.

If not, then you have to reconsider.

You may have to find another great content idea.

Recently, I read a new content, and I quickly went to the comment section to say something before anyone does.

To my surprise, there were already a few comments like:

“That’s incredibly useful!”

“That’s mind-blowing.”

“That’s exactly what I needed!”

Those are the kind of comments you should see on your blog post.

Before you write any content, you should see if you can do better than what’s already out there.

If you can’t do better than your competitors, then it’s better you just forget about getting traffic online.

What are the things you can do to get loads of traffic online?

The BIG Difference Between “Great Content” And “The Right Content”

I’m a big fan of this phrase:

“Great Content.”

I use that phrase a lot.

But what most beginner marketers don’t know is that there’s a big difference between a great content and the right content.

A great content is great – but great for nothing.

The right content could send massive web visitors to your website.

The right content can lower your customer acquisition cost by over ninety percent, and send you a lot of ready-to-buy visitors than any paid marketing channel out there.

The right content is what you need to make your website an overnight success.

The influencers in your niche are part of the process of making the right content.

When Alex Turnbull, the founder of Groove made the right content, his business blog got 1,000+ subscribers from a single post in 24 hours.

Groove has never looked back since then. In fact, they are currently on their way to generating $500,000 in monthly revenue. That’s the power of publishing the right contents.

How do you publish the right contents?

It’s simple.

Just follow these steps:

Step #1: Find the influential people in your niche.

Step #2: Find out what your influencers care about (what they like to share with their followers on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google+, etc.).

Step #3: Create content on that topic.

Step #4: Ask them to share your content.

That’s it!

It only takes four steps to create an amazing content that will get massive traffic to your website.

Influencers are always willing to share a content that’s about a topic or an issue they care so much about.

When you ask them to share that kind of content, they do that with ease because they know their fans will love it.

By using this powerful traffic building strategy, your new website will instantly be exposed to a big audience.

Instead of trying to build your own audience from scratch, why not leverage an influencer who already got a massive following?

Do Things That Don’t Scale By Hunting Your First Few Readers By Hand

Here’s the ugly truth:

Getting your first 100 visitors would be HARD!

Getting your first 1,000 visitors would be easy.

Getting your first 10,000 visitors would be easier.

And getting your first 100,000 would be very, very easier.

A lot of blog owners are stuck in the first, hard phase, which is getting their first 100 visits.

If you can only get those tangible 100 visits, taking it from there would be easy. This is what I often hear from most startups founders and bloggers.

I’m a big fan of the phrase “do things that don’t scale.”

Since Paul Graham said that in one of his blog posts back in 2013, a lot of startup founders and writers have found success just by sticking with that idea.

Most of us are blinded by the dream of instant success that we never take that first most important step.

Doing things that don’t scale is the best way to guarantee success and get people visiting your blog and spreading the word about it.

It’s the surest traffic building strategy that never fails.

Here’s how it works:

Instead of waiting for people to come to your website, why not visit them one-by-one and ask them to come to your site.

By going to them on-by-one, what I mean is, getting to know each one of them personally.

This powerful strategy has never failed me.

In fact, I’ve used it to hunt thousands of customers.

One of my friends who run a driving school in Brooklyn got tens of customers using this effective strategy alone. It works.

You don’t have to be smart to use this strategy.

Who are your target audience and where do they hang out online?

Can you get their emails?

Email each one of them to let them know about your content.

Ask them to share your contents on Facebook and Twitter, or anywhere more of your audience hangs out.

Guest Blogging Is The Key To Increasing Your Traffic, Authority, And Fans

When Google engineer, Matt Cutts mentioned guest blogging as being a black hat link building strategy, the whole web was surprised, and that sparked a lot of debates.

Matt Cutts himself quickly move to clarify things that guest blogging isn’t a black hat link building strategy.

It only becomes black hat when people are publishing low-quality, spammy posts as guest posts.

He is right.

Guest bloggers that fail to provide real value are pure black hats, and their websites should be banned from showing up on the Google search engine.

Guest blogging that provides real value is what I’m talking about here. That’s the real guest blogging that will grow your traffic, authority, and followers.

Gregory Ciotti used guest blogging to build 36,733 email subscribers.

Guest blogging is perfect for generating high-quality traffic.

For example, Alex Turnbull reached over 1 million people through guest blogging alone.

There are many blogs out there with a huge, engaged audience. Why not guest post on them to drive traffic back to your website?

Guest blogging has been a very effective marketing strategy for a long time, and it will continue to be as long as you’re providing real value to other people’s blog.

Your new blog is set up, and it has a fabulous looking design.
